Gobi Partners is the sole sponsor for the SEO-China program now, so every SEO recruit will work at Gobi. As a Gobi-intern, we provide you with infinite opportunities and valuable resources to access the capital market in China and the world. This program will also help SEO recruits and alumni establish connections within the financial industry and cultivate leadership skills.
During this 10-week program, you will receive training through the eyes of an investor, acquiring knowledge in areas such as investment banking, management consulting, private equity and venture capital. You will be paired with one of Gobi's investment managers who will mentor you on market analysis, company valuations and negotiations, and due diligence. You will also have the opportunity to participate in Investment Summit 2012 of Gobi Partners to broaden your horizon and network with investment professionals. During this summer program, you will work on an Industry Analysis Competition and present your research in front of Gobi's investment team and your fellow SEOers. Your internship performance will be evaluated based on the competition results.

Instruction
Brief Introduction to the Program
● You will learn about how to be a venture capitalist through concrete practices concerning all aspects of capital operations.
● You will be trained using real cases from Harvard Business School as well as interacting with people from the investment world.
● You will get access to first-hand market information and work with others to complete industrial analysis reports.
● You will get in touch with start-up companies and have the opportunity to communicate with the CEOs of these enterprises.
● You will be involved with charity programs to help the community.
Criteria & Requirements
● Outstanding academic record and the ability to deal with difficulties.
● Strong interests in digital media, finance, management, private equity and venture capital along with strong passion to be an entrepreneur.
● Demonstrate teamwork, initiative, and social responsibility
● Proficiency in English, both oral and written. (We will have an investment training suite in English before the start of the program.
● Must be in your sophomore or junior year of college.

2. Complete all parts of the application including your Personal Information, Educational Background, Extracurricular Activities/Community Services, Internships/Part-times and Open Questions.
3. After submitting your application, please keep a hard copy of your completed application form for further reference and wait for our notice.
